The Kite TCF05 Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility produces T-Cell therapies focusing on the cure for multiple types of cancer. The site is located in Urbana, Maryland, it includes a 200,000 SqFt manufacturing building, and a 60,000 SqFt office building. The Manufacturing Building is composed of an immense Sika Sarnafil 72 Mill Rhino Bond Roofing System with an R-30 Insulation, 2 layers of Gypsum cover board and a Self-Adhered Vapor Barrier. The Owner and Prime Contractor requested the roofing system to be completed in 60 days. A.O.C Inc. was able to commit to this timeline. We actually improved this request by 15 days allowing the Interior Construction schedule to start earlier than expected. AOC is honored to have participated in constructing the infrastructure necessary to advance Kite Pharma’s life-saving cancer treatment.
